Steven Addair

An Emmy nominated and award-winning filmmaker, Steven has spent 20 years as a director, DP, producer, writer and editor. His knowledge and expertise in digital cinema, VFX, animation, 3D and film has served numerous clients, ranging from American Express to Cirque du Soleil. As a multi-hyphenate, Steven is often involved with a project from development through post-production.  He has a broad range of experience and his credits include directing, shooting, writing, producing and editing commercials, public service announcements, short films, branded content and music videos. Steven has also directed many celebrity campaigns including spots with Jack Black, Olympia Dukakis, Kristen Chenoweth, Jim Belushi and Bill Cowher.

Most recently, Steven directed an exclusive film with Cirque du Soleil’s One Night for One Drop for the Climate Reality Project. He was also Senior VFX Producer on Rob Zombie’s 31, Universal’s Bigger Fatter Liar and the new BET series The Quad.  He produced over 600 VFX shots last year for feature films and television.  Steven also used his VFX knowledge as a Director for campaigns that included spots for Chase, AB InBev, Cigna, PwC, Philips and PepsiCo.

In late 2016, Steven Executive Produced along with his ShoulderHill partners 24 Hours of Climate Reality: The Road Forward.  For the broadcast, he also directed a music video with Mary Lambert for her recording of the Joni Mitchell classic Big Yellow Taxi.
