Jay Weissman is an event producer, multi-media show caller, production stage manager, and talent curator working in New York City, Washington DC and Los Angeles.

Mr. Weissman has successfully managed multi-faceted events including concerts, conferences, TED-style gatherings, galas, award ceremonies, special events, capital campaigns and multi-media extravaganzas in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, Radio City Music Hall, and Barclays Center arena. He has executed state of the art and original programs for The Stage at The Times Center, outdoors in Times Square, as well as events in all the major New York City parks, Sony Studios in Los Angeles and grand galas at the Waldorf Astoria and in many of the finest hotel ballrooms in New York (Hilton, Sheraton, Pierre, Marriott). Venues have included some of the most delicate and beautiful stages in New York including The American Museum of Natural History, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art and the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations. Jay has also worked on television shows filmed in the East Room of the White House, the Library of Congress, and The Kennedy Center.

Mr. Weissman has worked with artists and notable figures such as President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Bono, Sting, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, MIA, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Jay Z, Alicia Keys, Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, Merce Cunningham, Audra McDonald, President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro, Betty White, Michael Jordan, Brad Grey and Pope Benedict XVI. His unique role has been to interact closely with artists, CEO’s, heads of state, actors and celebrities to make their live shows and presentations work within the specific contexts of events and nuanced live situations and spaces.

Jay is a guest speaker at the Clive Davis Music School at NYU and Eugene Lang College, The New School for Liberal Arts, where his lectures foster interactive discussions on innovative strategies with his students.

Jay is also a Grammy Voting Member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) with multiple record producer credits.
