Peter Green is a multi-hyphenate with over 30 years of experience in Hollywood – as an award winning film and television producer and as a senior development and production executive for both film and television.
In 2019 Peter produced To Hell and Back (a behind the scenes documentary on the making of Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell) In late 2018, Peter Executive Produced, along with his ShoulderHill partners, Al Gore’s 24 Hours of Climate Reality: Protect our Planet, Protect Ourselves. It was the 8th year in a row he served as Executive Producer for the show, a live television special broadcast from numerous cities around the world. The show was seen in over 100 countries. For the global television events Peter and his partners have produced over 250 documentaries and informational films, 80 live and pre-taped musical performances and 100 hours of global television broadcast in 40 languages around the globe.
In 2015 Peter developed and produced the Unauthorized Beverly Hills 90210 Movie for Lifetime Television. Prior to that, he spent several years as Senior Vice President, Production and Development at Paramount Picture’s Paramount Famous Productions. While at Paramount, Peter produced Mean Girls 2 and Road Trip – Beer Pong. He also developed scripts for Clueless 2, The Second Wives Club, Shooter 2, Naked Gun 4 ¼, and Bad News Bears Soccer. Peter also served as as Vice President, Production for Disney Telefilms, overseeing the development and production of some (35) telefilms, for ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney. They include the top-rated Annie, for which Green tapped theater director Rob Marshall (Chicago) for his first film-directing role.Green also guided Jerry Bruckheimer’s first foray into long form television with MaxQ: Emergency Landing and Justin Timberlake’s television debut in Model Behavior. Green began his career at Disney in development, production and casting at Disney’s Hollywood Pictures working on such features as Crimson Tide, The Rock, While You Were Sleeping, Evita, Eddie, and The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. He began his career as an independent casting associate on the films A League of Their Own and Cool World.
