Power to the Poor

The eldest resident of Dharnai, India, flipped a switch last year and her village became the first village powered entirely by solar electricity in India. Bringing reliable electricity to a town changes every aspect of life. We will follow Harish Hande, the president of SELCO, as his team bring renewable electricity to Udupi slums outside of Bangalore.
